The Sabbat
The stuff of Camarilla nightmares, their dreaded Rebellion, the Sabbat often refers to itself as the Sword of Caine. Considering themselves to be superior creatures to the masses of uncaring, ignorant mortals, Sabbat usually call themselves Cainites, the children of Cain. They eschew the morality of mortals, seeking enlightenment in philosophies of contemplation – or of action. Richly complex, the Sabbat is a multilayered culture of soldiers, nomads, fanatics, philosophers and monsters, gathered under a 500 year old banner held aloft primarily by the darkly manipulative Lasombra and cunning, twisted Tzimisce.
